My Healthy Holiday Gift List

I’ve been getting questions about the products I use, what i like and recommend, which I’ll be sharing more of next year. In the meantime, here’s a peek at what was on my Holiday Wish List this year! There is a little bit of everything from fitness gadgets to beauty to healthy kitchen staples.

MY 2020 HOLIDAY GIFT GUIDE (MOST GIFTS ARE UNISEX!)

Essential Oil diffuser. I have a few diffusers in my house but I don’t use them often because they’re not great quality and I don’t love that they’re plastic. So this year I’m upgrading to this Vitruvi Stone Diffuser - which is sleeker, ceramic and supposedly better quality.

Essential Oils. I’ve been using essential oils for many years now, so a little restocking is always necessary. This year I want BREATHE blend (primarily for my diffuser, for aromatherapy) and ONGUARD (primarily for making my homemade toothpaste). I also love this SERENITY blend.

Electric Water Boiler. I drink a lot of tea all day long regardless of the weather, so having a good quick efficient kettle is essential to me. I had a beautiful SMEG one that broke during the pandemic months, so this Christmas I’m replacing it. These are the 2 I requested in my Christmas wish list!

Stainless Steel Vitamix container. I love my Vitamix but never loved that the container is plastic, so i was psyched when i read that Vitamix finally came out with a stainless steel plastic-free container!

Cute Workout Clothes. I’ve always loved fashion and since now I spend most of my time in my studio teaching class, it makes sense to splurge on workout clothes vs. partying clothes like I used to. I believe in wearing what makes you feel good, what makes you feel beautiful! So I’ve been stocking up on some cute pieces from my favorite workout brands: ALO yoga, Lululemon and my new favorite - Girlfriend Collective (i love their cause, love their eco-friendly commitment.. check them out!)

Bala bangles. Yes I’ve fallen in the bandwagon and totally want a pair for when I’m working out from the beach / when traveling.

Clean Nontoxic Perfume. I’ve been on the lookout for a good perfume made with natural essential oils and no hormone-disrupting chemicals (chemical fragrances are one of the most endocrine disruptive toxins to avoid) and I really like this line.

Comfty yet beautiful PJs. I love Eberjey and have been wanting to try Lunya (definitely on my splurge list!).

Dry Brush. I’ve been dry brushing daily for a while now and love it; its part of my routine like brushing my teeth, so it’s time to get an extra one (which I can keep at the beach). And it’s always nice to get a smaller travel one, too!

Sculpting Tools. I recently gifted myself both of these tools and am loving them- 1) Gua Sha (I got this one from Wildling) and 2) a lymphatic drainage wooden tool (like a gua sha for the legs and booty to help prevent cellulite; I got this one from delaHeart). If you don’t have these yet, I highly recommend them!

Books. I love reading and wish I had more time for it. I’ve committed to 1-2 books a month and can say whenever I finish a book, I feel so good, like my soul has been nurtured. Whether its a silly romance or a self-help, I always find pleasure in it. Unless the book sucked..but hey, that’s bound to happen once in a while! On my current list is:

Journal. Journaling has changed my life. I journal every day (almost) and LOVE It, so i go through about 2 journals per year. I personally love bullet journals which allow me to do organized lists as well as free writing.

“CLEAN” beauty products. I’m slightly obsessed with skincare and for the past few years have transitioned to fully non-toxic “clean” products and am loving experimenting with simple yet effective oils. On my list this holiday is the December box from The Detox Market.

A few of my other staples include:

  • Beach staples. Beautiful skimpy bikinis, handrafted woven bags (like the Peruvian ones I sell in Balance Studio), and this Sun Bum Sunscreen (I LOVE this sunscreen, it leaves me with an even tan and has none of the toxic ingredients in traditional sunscreens/ suntan lotions)

Health Technology. There are so many awesome inventions nowadays. Currently on my list is this Sleep Oura Ring. Quality sleep is so important so I’m dying to try this ring to help me track it and learn more about my sleeping patterns. If you’ve tried it, let me know if you like it!

PowerBeats Pro headphones. I also had on my wish list (and was gifted early) these amazing Powerbeats Pro - they are the best headphones for filming my Zoom barre classes!

Cleaner Home Products. I just purchased this Blueland kit with their hand soap, dish soap. 3 cleaning sprays, laundry detergent and dishwasher tablets…can’t wait to get it and try it out. Then all i need to stock up on is their super eco-friendly no-plastic dissolvable tablets.

Lastly, I’m loving all high waisted jeans and jean shorts, organic cotton undies, crop tops and midi dresses!

Now, for those in Nicaragua, here are some local gifts I’m loving:

*Beautiful kitchen decorations, platters, serving ware and more at Enkantos. They have EVERYTHING you need for serving a beautiful dinner at home, and tons of cute Christmas themed items!

*LissCreations personalized face masks

*Nahoa Organic rose water, coconut oil (and more!)

*Cute bikinis and coverups by Kabu and cute hair scrunchies by Nini (both in Nini Fashion store)

*Yoga mats, blocks, straps, bags, eco straws, Peruvian summer bags, and MORE in Balance Studio

*Gourmet vegan baked goods and dips by Cocina Cosmos, healthy desserts by DOSE, and of course all of my super healthy gluten-free dairy-free goods by Balance Food!

Where are you shopping this year? What’s on your list? Please share! And wishing you the happiest holidays yet. You deserve it more than ever after a super tough year!
