Let's Unite in Gratitude and Health this 2020 Thanksgiving Holiday

This year has been a rollercoaster for ALL of us; for each one of us in it's own way. More than ever, we are joined together (globally) in this feeling. Which is why we need to celebrate Thanksgiving with extra purpose, extra meaning, extra love, extra appreciation, extra HEALTH and extra UNITY.

This year our Thanksgiving holiday will be unique. For the first time (for most of us) we will be connecting with family and loved ones via phone/video and missing out on some hugs, but the bright side is that we'll be connecting with a lot more family that usual, now that we've all learned to embrace Zoom calls!

Remember, there is always a bright side...

I invite you this year to refocus on all the positives in your life, in this particular moment, this particular weekend. The food you'll be eating, the family you do get to see (vs. those you don't get to see), the moments of good weather (vs. moments of bad weather), the positives in our health (vs. your 'imperfections"), and so on.

In that spirit, I want to say an extra special thank you to all my readers, my followers, my family and friends for supporting me through this difficult year. I love you and wish you only the best, each one of you.

And now on to my healthy recommendations for this Thanksgiving weekend!!

1) A MUST READ FOR 5 TIPS THAT I PERSONALLY PRACTICE for a Healthy Thanksgiving Holiday... including 2 delicious Pumpkin Pie dessert recipes, both gluten and dairy free, low-sugar and extremely healthy & delicious.

2) Six of my favorite HEALTHY Thanksgiving and Christmas recipes that I encourage you to try. I'm personally making the green bean casserole today which is delicious!

3) Tons of butternut squash recipes (which can be used interchangeably with Pumpkin in these recipes) all perfect for Thanksgiving.

For my Spanish speaking friends, tune into my next Zoom cooking class (next will be Friday Dec 11th) where we'll be making my delicious Pumpkin Hummus and skinny Pumpkin Pie with vegan frosting (all diary free and gluten free and refined sugar free).

Lastly, I'm doing one last round of my 10 Day Detox from Nov 30 - Dec 9. Don't miss out on this post-Thanksgiving / pre-Christmas opportunity to detox - safe, doable yet effective detox - with the best support and an awesome community, not to mention delicious recipes. TODAY Thanksgiving is the last day to sign up!

Happy Thanksgiving,

Mariana
