My Year-End Ritual

This is one of my favorite times of the year, when work is slow, there is more time to relax and enjoy time with friends and family.

With the year almost over and a new one about to begin, it's also the best time to REFLECT and get organized for an even better new year.

It's been an amazing year, so it's worth it to take a second and EMBRACE that and be thankful.

Here for 3 ways to maximize your year-end and set yourself up for another amazing year.

1) Take 5-10 minutes to think back over the past year, and make a note of all your accomplishments in 2022. I bet you'll be surprised about how much you've done.

I know personally, I'm always stressing about not doing enough, but today I looked back over the past 12 months and realized that it's been truly life-changing. My daughter turned one year old, I breastfed her up until now, raising a healthy beautiful child... all while keeping up with my business! I launched a new website (with an online program for pregnant and postpartum mammas), and have continued to HELP A TON OF PEOPLE change their bodies, getting stronger and healthier - both inside and out, and achieve their health goals overall. That alone is worth a million bucks for me.

Even with all these major successes and personal blessings, I know that 2023 has so much more in store for me!  Which brings me to step 2.

2) Set three S.M.A.R.T. goals for the new year.

We tend to just throw these big resolutions in the air, and then get disappointed when we don't accomplish them, but make this year different by taking the time to WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS, and break them down into actionable steps. For each goal, write what you want to have accomplished by the end of each quarter (90 day goals), then brainstorm a few steps you can take each month in Q1-2023 to help you reach that goal (monthly goals). Just focus on Q1. Take out your journal (or phone/ipad/laptop), and do it now.

It's important to acknowledge and accept that your quarterly goals and monthly steps will change as the year progresses. Maybe even your final goal will get modified, AND THAT'S OK. Allow for things to progress naturally, but keep your goal in mind and work towards it every month, and every day.

To help stay on top of your monthly/weekly/daily goals, I love using my Diario Bienestar (by @vgarcia16 and/or a BULLET JOURNAL.

And lastly...

3) Think of one person (or two or three) that helped make 2022 an amazing year for you, or just sometime you love, and call them now to tell them you love them and you're thankful for their support. It will make their day, and yours as well.

Once you're done with these 3 tasks, grab your green juice, matcha, coffee or mimosa, relax, and have an amazing day.
